The burger kicked this up to five stars. Got the "big one" and it was epic. Milkshake was tasty, but too thin as usual. The 80s soundtrack also helped. Good value, decent vibe.

Great bar with excellent food, we had probably the best steak pie and chips we've ever had and the chilli burger is absolutely beautiful. We'll be returning next march for more great food.

Fantastic bar with friendly staff and great prices. Also one of the only places that take card for drinks as opposed to many that are cash only.
I went looking for a bar showing the football close to the hotel where I could get a few beers. Most nearby were cash only, which I didn’t have on me. This bar was great and took card.

We ate here during our 2 week stay in June.. was absolutely gutted to have missed out on the roast dinner as wasn't aware that you have to book in advance., however the food we did order was outstanding, the fish was gorgeous..some of the best batter I've ever tasted , and the Mexican bean beef burger was to die for 😍 crazy good chips and
HUGE portion sizes! Great value for money 👍🏻 we plan to go back in September and the first thing I'm going to do is book in for the roast 😁
