Royal Taj

We absolutely adore this place. Simply the best Indian food you will ever have, anywhere. Period. We've had Indian friends confirm to us that the food at Taj is better than their mama's. Also, the staff is incredibly friendly and efficient, and the owner is the nicest man you will ever meet. We used to drive for an hour each way to go there every week end, until we moved. Now we make a stop each time we're in the area. Phenomenal food. Absolutely beautiful place. Perfect 10 service. You have to go there. Seriously. Go there. You won't regret it.

We were visiting my son and this is his favorite restaurant. I can see why! The place is immaculate and the service you receive is beyond amazing. I've always been a little scared of Indian food, but the Royal Taj changed my mind on this. The food was fantastic!! Any questions we had, the server was more than happy to answer them. He was careful in asking and explaining how spicy we might like a dish. We went with medium heat and it was perfect. We didn't have room for dessert, but the server insisted we have a glass of dessert wine on the house!! Impeccable food and service! Treat yourself and go here if you have the chance!!

The decor was very nice as if you were dinning in a palace. They have a lot of friendly staffs serving the restaurant. The owner visited us at the table and make sure everything was great. Every single dishes was delicious. Our favorite was the Crab coconut curry, it was amazing. Top 5 best India food we had.

Birthday celebration dinner. Restaurant looks like they have upgraded the furnishings. Beautiful setting. As always the food was wonderful. Flavorful and well executed. Moreover, the customer service is beyond compare. The staff make you feel so important and are really gracious and generous in their care of guests. Wonderful experience. Will always look forward to coming back.

More than an excellent meal, a top dining experience! You will be welcomed warmly from beginning to end and your senses are in for a treat! When I lived in the DC metro area this was a favorite spot. After being away for 7 years my wife and I walk through the doors and we hear “Welcome back! It’s been a long time”

NO BUFFET!! I'll start this review by stating that Royal Taj has excellent food quality and service. When the pandemic started, the restaurant's buffet understandably closed. Now that the pandemic phase is over, I was hoping the buffet would reopen. However, upon calling the restaurant, it seems like the staff has no plans to EVER reopen the buffet. This is a main draw for many diners.

Yes! Visit thi$ restaurant! They started us with chips and dip. The dips are very thin, unlike tortillas. Just thought I'd mention that. The red and green dips are very good. I ordered the shrimp tikki marsala. The meal was light and lovely! The shrimp was fresh! The sauce was amazing! We ordered the garlic naan as well. Please dip it in your sauce baby!! I ordered a mojito....niiiiiice!! Daughter in law recommended this place and we went in shorts and tees! Ugh!!! They still treated us just like everyone else...but don't do it. This place is classy! The owner was there pounding it up and dishing out the personality. I'll be back. Now! The reason they're getting a 4 star is bc I can't give a 4.5 and.. PLEASE DO NOT CLEAN BEFORE I LEAVE. I felt like they were rushing me out. At these prices....nah. 😂😂
