Waffle House

Wasn't too bad. Came in with my girlfriend to have some late night breakfast and the cook was very nice. Our waitress was a young girl and had her boyfriend there and she talked more than she catered to us. Saw us walk in and rolled her eyes and said something snark to her boyfriend. She stood around talking, hardly helping the cook with orders. Should have stiffed her but I'm too nice I suppose.

Who is in charge of hiring? You’re failing. Two weekends in a row the waitress (two different ones) takes our order, repeats it back to us, then yells it out. Should be no room for error, right? Well, wrong. I ordered a has brown bowl and pecan waffle. I ended up having to get the waffle to go because it never showed up. They didn’t even cook it til I reminded them I ordered it. The next week, son orders chili hash browns. They bring plain hash browns. It’s small stuff but it’s the basics of your job. You want tips? Those are for actually doing your job. I shouldn’t have to remind you what I ordered. YOU WROTE IT DOWN. Also, they start just putting the food on the table in random places. There are only two of us. How can you not remember who go what? Make a note of it if your memory is that bad! I’ll probably just be going to South Park down the road from now on.

Service was basically she didn’t care. Had a child on the hip ringing customers up and going behind the counter. Clearly the kids and grand kids were all eating there for free. Felt like I was on a taping for Jerry Springer and I know what WH is known for their type of employees but come on!! Take a shower and keep your family away from the business. And put a hair net on cause I found a hair on my sandwich also!!

This place was nasty. I don’t like to leave bad reviews as I once was on the other side but this place is terrible. We went in on our way through at 5:00 am. The server was high on something the place had every table with dirty dishes. The floor was nasty. It took forever to get our bill. What a shame it’s not rocket science I’ve done all those jobs my whole life.
