Wendy's

Unfortunately there was a pretty good line of cars when we went thru there because the fries were NOT hot and crispy and the rest wasn't much better. With the recent ad' blitz I was pretty disappointed and since you can't walk in I wasn't gonna take more of my time to call them on it. Better to make people wait longer than to serve less than fresh food just to move the along

As always, Wendy's is a great place to grab supper when craving fast food, and the only place if that craving includes a Frosty. Unfortunately my recent craving required two trips. My first trip was on an afternoon when snow was expected. Only the drive-thru was open and the line was very long, almost out of the parking lot. After waiting in line for nearly a half hour I noticed someone standing in the middle of the parking lot waving their arms. I rolled my window down and he said that he was the manager and that they were closing after they took two more orders. Since that meant the car in front of me would be getting a Frosty and I wouldn't, I asked why they were stopping with the car in front of me since I had pulled into the parking lot right behind them 30 minutes ago. He just shrugged and walked away. So I had to go back a few days later and it took almost 25 minutes to get my chicken sandwich, potato and Frosty because they were taking one order at a time, finishing it and then moving on to the next order. Apparently they are having problems hiring enough people, like everyone else, and they haven't figured out that $13 per hour isn't a big lure like it was a couple of years ago. So Wendy's is still a good place for a burger and fries, as long as you don't mind a long wait!

This Wendy's has had it's dining room closed since March 15th 2020, and has never reopened for even a day. And walking by one day I overheard the manager talking. He stated " We make just as much money with the dining room closed, then we do with it open." Disappointed to see to see this Wendy's only cares about profits, and could careless about the customer experience. Disappointed because it was my favorite fast food restaurant. The only restaurant in Clarksville Indiana that closed on March 15th 2020, and has never reopened its dining room. All About profits, not Covid, or Staffing issues.

Wendy's haven't been in there in a while and started dining room but I have been to the drive-thru quite a bit pretty good service friendly pretty busy most the time especially on the weekends Friday nights especially but the food's always good tasty fresh I'd recommend to stop in here too just driving through and you see these ratings go ahead and drop by and check some of these restaurants out there are based out of New Albany Jeffersonville and Clarksville Indiana
