Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

Stopped in today looking for something different other than burgers. I ordered the ribs and shrimp combination with the sides of loaded potatoes and broccoli casserole. The food looked delicious, and tasted alright, but not hot as it should’ve been. It was all merely warm. For my first time visit, it didn’t leave a great impression, but I didn’t complain. I chucked it up to being understaffed and decided it wasn’t worth it complain. My friend’s food was also lukewarm and not hot. We where just too hungry and tired to even say anything. The waitress and hostess was very nice and smiling.

Svc was slow. Really slow. Not even a packed house for a Saturday. Took 15 min to get drinks. I had the New Orleans Pasta, not bad but the shrimp still had the tails on them and the chicken was a touch dry. Wife had Dijon chicken and it was good but chicken was also a touch dry. Daughter had 6oz Sirloin and it was pretty good. She ordered medium

The croissant plate presented when the server finally makes it to you is definitely a tasty bread with a melted sweet honey butter. The Chicken pecan salad w/honey mustard dressing was a basic salad with w a grilled chicken breast that was acceptable in taste. The salad served as a side with chicken pot pie was served in a bowl just slightly smaller. The Chicken pot pie had a great taste to it The French fries are cut fresh from the whole unpeeled potato taste was ok. The server on a rating of scale fell into a moderate range. I would have to honestly say not a good memorable experience.👍🏼👎🏻.

I heard alot of great things about this place maybe my expectations were too high. The Broccoli casserole was soggy, and almost cold, the red beans and rice was warm at best. Steak was warm. Almost like it was done for 10 minutes but was under the heat lamp for awhile. Then after asking for A1 Steak sauce another long wait incurred. Overall for the price I'd go elsewhere.
