My first visit- definitely will be back. I’ve been looking for good home cooking since I’ve moved to Clarksville, especially meatloaf…. Just so happens I google this place on Wednesday & guess what!!! Meatloaf is there daily dish.
I’ve covered some turnip greens but they are on Thursday. (Like I said I will be back)
After taking a spot in the open area, the server brings you cornbread & takes your drink order.
Friendly service. Quick, delicious food. Clean open environment.
There is parking & clean restrooms.
Small town goodness wrapped right in the heart of Clarksville.
Next time I’m gonna ask not to sit under the tv- I felt like people were staring at me.

I arrived 15 minutes before closing time without knowing they had modified the working hours so I entered the place hoping I could be attended.
I was very well welcomed and served with warm southern friendliness.
I had the 1 meat - 3 veggies meal.
Roast beef, cole slaw, green beans and mac&cheese were a delight for dinner. The cornbread sticks were delicious. I'm usually not very fond of bread but I left not a crumb.
I will definitely come back.

Finally able to stop in. Mom and I stopped in for lunch on Wednesday. Place was hopping. Servers were on top of it. Food yum. I got pork tenderloin sandwich and my mom got blt which was stacked with bacon. Get peach cobbler. Yum!

Stopped by for the first time as we were new in town and I was excited for some “southern” cooking. I ordered the cheesy chicken sandwich which was mediocre at best. It’s pretty much some shredded cheddar, probably a slice of Kraft cheese and another slice of mozzarella. No toppings or condiments on it so it’s very bland. My husband had a Reuben and enjoyed his. Also grabbed a peach and blackberry cobbler to go. Peach is decent but the blackberry could use a little revamping. I was hoping for some hearty soul southern cooking but this wasn’t the spot for us. Service was good I’ll give them that, but for 3 kids meals, 2 sandwiches and 2 cobblers at lunch time, I think $54 is a bit much, especially when water is ordered instead of drinks.

Came in for breakfast, had the western omelette, hash browns, biscuit and gravy. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. The servers were friendly and fast. They even brought me out some corn sticks to taste! I’ll be back just for those corn sticks. Wonder if I can order a bucket full of those sticks!
