Punjabi Palace, La Marquesa Golf, Ciudad Quesada I spent two wonderful weeks in Torrevieja from 6th June 2017 to 20th June 2017. As it was Father's Day back in the UK I wanted to celebrate with my Dad. When I asked him where he wanted to go for dinner he exclaimed Punjabi Palace. It was our first visit. Punjabi Palace has an exclusive location overlooking La Marquesa golf course. The restaurant was modern with an attractive and colourful decor. However we chose to sit outside on the terrace and enjoy the view. It was evident from the outset that the restaurant was very popular with plenty of diners. I also noticed many people arriving to collect take aways. I was very pleased with the great variety of the menu with such a fabulous choice of appetisers, main dishes and desserts. I opted for my favourite chicken palak accompanied with naan which was absolutely delicious. For dessert I tried the traditional pistachio kulfi. It was very refreshing and flavoursome. There was also a wide variety of ice creams, sundaes and desserts to choose from. My whole family were very pleased with their food especially the chicken tikka which was very succulent and a generous portion, lamb madras which was spicy and very appetising and the chicken karahi which was flavoursome. My family are originally from India and we were delighted not only with the sensory feast but with the authenticity of the cuisine. Punjabi Palace have a wonderful range of wine but we particularly enjoyed the cava! However, for us there was something very special about Punjabi Palace. The waiting staff were good but we were very impressed with Anil's service which was simply outstanding. We were struck by Anil's efficiency, kindness and empathy. As a Head of HR within the hospitality industry for many years, I am skilled at identifying superb service and attention to detail. My family and I were delighted with Anil's service. My father is disabled with mobility issues and Anil was very attentive and engaging and his customer service skills were excellent. Anil was very helpful, friendly and warm and we left with a very good impression of Punjabi Palace Restaurant. He made our experience at Punjabi Palace extra special and I believe he truly is a fantastic asset to your team. Please convey my thanks to him personally. We look forward to returning on our next visit in September!

Food was beautiful and staff were amazing and service was spectacular and rate it 5 star today

By far the best curry we have had here in Spain. We ordered the lunch menu, very good value and portions were just right. We had a chicken korma and chicken madras. The korma was beautifully creamy and my husbands madras was nice and hot �� we will definitely be back!!

La comida es excelente. El personal es muy agradable y servicial. Se encuentra en un pequeño centro comercial, por eso los precios son tan bajos. ¡Muy recomendable!

Excelente lugar. Cantidades muy aceptables y los sabores realmente buenos. Pedimos de carta y nos lo equiparon como un menú diario de 10,95. El sabor del curry muy bueno. Amabilidad y rapidez en el servicio.

Según nuestro gusto, la comida de este restaurante es la mejor de la provincia de Alicante. Hasta en los papadoms hay diferencia (grandes, y las salsas riquísimas). El pan de coco y el de mantequilla son inigualables. El género es de buena calidad, las samosas son las mejores y el precio sale muy bien. El personal es amable y te ayuda bastante en las peticiones. En fin, es nuestro Rte. Hindú favorito.
