Under the new owners we had a lovely meal tonight. I had the Norwegian lamb casserole, my wife had the salmon. Both meals of excellent quality produce, correct quantity, and served hot. For the quality the meals were priced correctly. As this is very near our house, it shall be very easy to visit regularly. Well done to the new owners.

Booked to go on a Friday night in August.The place was humming with customers enjoying their meals and drinks. We last visited in 2016 and its the same great team that ran Laurel and Hardeys back then, the food and service is still superb and the evening for our group of sevèn was a credit to the restaurant.

Four of us had Sunday lunch here, it was excellent very welcoming, lovely choice on the menu, after our relaxing meal we had coffees outside, very relaxing lovely views highly recommended. A few weeks earlier I had my son and his wife over from the USA, they had chosen this restaurant from the internet, as my son is both gluten free and diabetic we were concerned, when we explained the waitress went out of her way to help, and what a delight the whole experience was. We sat outside which was a wonderful experience for them I cannot praise them enough. Whenever booking Martin the owner is so helpful. If you have not been yet I say give it a try you will not be disappointed. Jess T
