All In One Occasions

I love all cuisines, but I'm from the South(east U.S.), and I am so appreciative that Emma's (All in One) is so down home, yet so expertly prepared. Very welcoming folks, and everything we tried was beyond excellent. I'll definitely recommend the mac and cheese, fried okra, and several other sides were just amazing. The whiting was... Simply the best I've ever had! The breading was delicate, yet packs a punch. Perfectly balanced seasonings and flavors. I want to try many other things on the menu, but I'm sure I will only get the whiting, because I now crave it.

My husband and myself stopped in today for the first time. We were walking back to our car after visiting the Westwood Christmas market and decided to give Emma's Soul Food a try. The food was so good! From the salmon croquet to the cabbage, oh my God that cabbage is good. The people were also super nice and fun and we can't wait to go back!

I enjoyed my meal. The collard greens were delicious. There aren't too many places that I've eaten at these days that I can say have delicious food anymore, but I can say this establishment has good food, In my opinion. I ordered the kids wings and fries, wings were good and pretty brown color; fish sandwich was good, although I would have preferred whiting as a choice; ribs, mac and cheese, greens, cornbread and banana pudding was satisfying enough for me to finish it all. I didn't get my pop though but did get a credit. I will order again and will recommend.

Emma's is a local, family owned, and black owned and operated restaurant serving up the city's BEST soul food!!! Every dish tastes like a hug from Big Mama/Grandma. The second time I visited I brought a friend from California. As Angelenos we are very particular about good food and we were impressed and taken aback by the warm service, friendly staff, and of course the food. We were offered samples of Macaroni and cheese and savory meatloaf that left us excited and hungry for more. We were also given a sample of banana pudding that changed the game completely! Please support black businesses and pay a visit to this gem! P.S. they've expanded the space and have a bar attached!!! Great environment and even better people!!
