Penzeys Spices

I have had nothing but a brilliant experience with Penzey’s. Best spices you can find PERIOD. And the customer service is outstanding. Yes, you can find cheaper prices elsewhere, but that is for a reason. And sadly it seems those with negative reviews are not talking about the quality of the product. They don’t like having to wear a mask or dealing with the politics of the business owner. I say shop elsewhere and shut up. Please limit your critique to the product.

Visited the store for my 1st intro to Penzeys. Staff were helpful & friendly, taking time to answer lots of questions and make suggestions. Because of the distance, I'm now ordering online, but hope to return to the store. The spice blends are wonderful! Especially like that many are without salt allowing me to determine how much salt while still getting the full spice or herb amounts. Penzeys has great weekly specials both in store and online. I also love that the company is socially conscious and promotes high ideals.

Knowledgeable, friendly staff. I cannot think of any spice/seasoning you cannot find there. Broad selection of different cuisine spices. Do NOT miss their black pepper choices. I keep a small jar in my car so that when I go out for a meal I have the best pepper ever! I am totally addicted to Penzey's World's Best Ground Pepper!! Their stores are so well arranged that, even given all the many choices, you can find exactly what you want in a very short time.

My favorite spice store. I am a foodie. Love using all their stuff. I travel across town to get there spices every week. They have specials on stuff all the time. If you join there email club they contact you with new items and let you know what the specials are for the week. Staff is wonderful and friendly. We laugh and talk. Share recipes. It's like family to me.

Their spices and herbs smell great. My kitchen is full of Penzey's bottles. Subscribe to their mailing list for offers and freebies. Some items are a little expensive compared to elsewhere but I feel their quality is better and stock fresher than some supermarkets. My kids like the little colouring corner in the shop and that gives me plenty of time to browse the place.

I love this place! The employees are some of the nicest people ever and the spice selection is top notch. Anything you need will probably be there. Plus most times, you can score yourself a free jar of something along with your purchase. I just keep coming back to peruse and smell all the spice samples and always find something new to pick up and try out in my kitchen. Definitely check this place out!

Great prices, great people, great product. There are some stores I just love stepping inside because of the first smell you get when you walk in -- big box hardware stores are one (I love the smell of cut lumber), and Penzy's is the other. Prepared to be assailed with the glory that is the Spice of Life. I adore this place and hope they stay here for years to come.

Everyone at Penzeys is always so helpful and friendly. If you tell them what you're looking for they'll have a great suggestion and usually have some kind of promotion running so you end up with an extra spice. The prices are super reasonable, I always spend less money than I expect to. Definitely worth a visit.
