MOTR is the best small stage bar for live music in downtown Cincinnati. In addition to the featured weekend artists, they have open mic / amateur night entertainment. The food is great, way better than typical bar food. Solid beer selection, reasonable prices, servers are nice. Downstairs, they have a few pinball and video game machines plus a pool table.

I love going to see a gritty band grinding out some homemade tunes at this little place. It's such a great atmosphere in a fantastic Main Street setting. The fries were crispy, that's a plus, but I'm not crazy about the beer selection, not a deal breaker though. Try it out, you're likely to have a good time.

As a rock club MOTR Pub consistently brings both touring bands and local groups to their stage. Over the years I have had the pleasure of seeing many great bands. Honestly, it's one of the few clubs that I make a point to watch their calendar. This review will focus on the positive experience that I had recently while eating at MOTR before the show. I ordered my food at the bar and was given an electronic "coaster" that would light up when my order was done. It wasn't too busy, so I thought that a veggie burger and fries wouldn't take long. I waited and watched others pick up their food. After about a half hour or so, I spoke to the kitchen and asked if my order has been prepared. It appeared that there was a mix up, and my veggie burger and fries was accidentally sent out with a take out order. The man who was working in the kitchen politely apologized to me and said that he would make my order right away. Less than ten minutes later he brought me a double decker veggie burger and a HUGE pile of french fries, apologizing again for the mix up. The burger was so big that I couldn't finish it, it was great! Thank you MOTR for fixing the problem, then going above and beyond to make a customer happy. Keep ROCKIN' the veggie burgers, I will be coming to see more bands.

One of the best local establishments for music. The shows are almost always free and feature and eclectic mix of musicians. Half the fun is showing up to a show and experiencing some new music. Photo’s are of “The Gully Boys” who were touring from Minnesota. The basement features a couple of pinball machines and they have an outdoor patio. Bartenders are friendly and drinks are cheap. A great spot for a casual chill and some music. While I’ve never had the food, I hear from many people it’s great.
