Sorrento's Italian Joint

Love this place! Discovered it one rainy afternoon when I wanted to take a break from traffic. My dad would call this place a “red restaurant,” because of the decor, the lighting and the booths. In reality, it’s a “red and green restaurant,” with Italian flags and maps aplenty (don’t miss the map in the ceiling of f the main dining room). Service is excellent. I like the bar area, “Enrico’s Taverna,” which had some friendly neighborhood locals when I was there. I’ve come back here three times in recent weeks - it may be my new favorite restaurant in Cincinnati. The wedge salad was a delicious. I also recommend the lasagna and the Mama T’s Italian sausage pizza. Bonus: their own parking lot, with about 12 spots, including accessible parking for wheelchair users.

ETA: We had visited here during COVID for take out and finally returned to eat in the dining room. The food was still great and so was the service! We had pizza and garlic bread with cheese and both were really good! They were offering a special for a two topping pizza for $14.99, so we got pepperoni and sausage. The pizza is super cheesy which I love! The garlic bread looked like Texas Toast with cheese, but it too was really tasty. We will be back to try some of their pasta next time.

This was a first visit, and this place is a hidden gem! The service was excellent as we walked in 30 minutes before closing and were able to eat in and receive excellent service. The pizza crust was so delicious. This is definitely a place to return for good pizza, service, and atmosphere! There was an error with pizza toppings, and we didn't even actually pay attention due to being hungry and just enjoying the meal. However, it was brought to our attention, and a new pizza was made. The honesty and exposure to error are positive qualities that will definitely keep people returning!

Ordered pepperoni pizza for takeout. Super nice looking restaurant. Pizza was tasty. But The cheese wasn't mozzarella. It was some aged and smelly cheeses. My mouth didn't mind but my stomach did. I was bowled over all night. I am not lactose intolerant and eat pizza once a week. Just a warning folks. Ask about the cheese.

What a neat restaurant in Norwood, I had no idea this place was such a cool place! Jacinda was our waitress and she was was best! She allowed us to move tables so we felt more comfortable, was kind, knowledgeable, and friendly! She made sure we were taken care of the entire time! I a def cute little gem of Cincinnati to check out!

This is my favorite Italian restaurant EVER! It was my family’s first time there tonight, and we loved it. Anything you order is delicious, beautifully presented, flavorful, and fresh. My sister loved how they had an espresso martini, and the taste exceeded expectations! The hospitality is the best. Chef David is very fun and friendly and our waitress was awesome. My family will definitely be back as it’s now our go-to Italian restaurant!

First time here and I will definitely return! The atmosphere was so quaint. A lot of Cincinnati memorabilia, great music, and wonderful ambiance. Our party of three each got something different. One of our orders was incorrect and they went ABOVE AND BEYOND to correct it. The food was outstanding! The manager was friendly, the chef came to our table, but the highlight of our night (even more than our food) was our waitress, Kylie. This girl was phenomenal! She was prompt, attentive, full of info about the menu, and just genuinely kind. Ask for her if you go! You won’t be disappointed! 10/10 food and service!
