Chung Ching Restaurant

Food is always on point. No matter what we order (since I've been grown it's been a few times recently...my family used to order here when I was younger ALOT!) Portion sizes, taste, look...its mouth watering. The restaurant is still in the same place it was almost 20 30 years ago and it's even smaller now, lol. But don't let the size fool you...you'll definitely find your favorite table and come back. Everytime.

I was hesitating to check this place out when I saw the review photos, I was biased because the food photos were not very "modern" nor "authentic looking", but little did I know how wrong I was! After being recommended by many Chinese friends, I went to this place and was immediately in love thanks to the very hospitable hostess. This is a restaurant with HISTORY! The owners made food themselves fresh everyday and take care of their guests like their family. The home-style food are very well made with super hot wok, not to mention the large portion. If you love a comfortable meal, this is the place to go!

This is by far the best Chinese restaurant in the Cincinnati area. The Governor’s Chicken is the best I’ve ever had. The vegetables are delicious, even if you don’t care much for vegetables, the vegetables here are cooked to perfection. And on top of that, the customer service is wonderful. 10/10, would eat here any time of the day.

I am a delivery driver, and a customer on my route highly recommended Chung Ching. Boy I am glad that I listened to his advice. The owners (husband and wife) are very welcoming, and happy to answer any questions that you have. The owner recommended one of their specialties (Governors Chicken). She pointed to the wall, which hung numerous framer news articles about Chung Ching and this dish specifically. How on earth could I argue with that? Let me tell you, the food is absolutely amazing. The egg rolls are homemade, not frozen from some restaurant supply warehouse. The food was cooked perfectly, and all of the vegetables were fresh. The level of spice was exactly as I had asked for. The portion sizes were extremely generous, and enough for 2 leftovers. I grew up on the west side of Cincinnati, and I have driven by this place thousands of times and never even knew it was here. Chung Ching has been at the same location for 40 years, and I feel sad that I have only now discovered it. If you are ever in the area, do yourself a favor and definitely stop by Chung Ching for a meal.
