I have tried Lydia cafe last week and tried it again this weekend! And I absolutely loved it!! The vibe of the place is absolutely amazing! Very homie. I love the Mexican Mocha, had it the first time without the whipped cream and tried the second time with it. It was good. The food was also great!

This a place that you can set in and listen to live music, eat delicious food and have the best coffee or tea ever. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The staff as well as the entire cafe are welcoming.

Very relaxed environment. I have ate their food as a handful of times and haven't had anything I didn't like. My personal favorites are their Figgy Piggy sandwich, sweet bread pudding (Sunday brunch only), any of their refresher, and American Macchiato. They also have jazz brunch on Sunday and other similar events throughout the week. My only issue which keeps me from giving them five stars is that their customer service is a hit or miss. Busy days expect delays in getting the attention of your waitress or waiter. Often staff is young and inexperienced. Will continue to enjoy their food.

The environment here was very cutesy. I got the apple bread pudding which was amazing. Highly recommend it! The staff was nice and the drinks were tasty. I probably wouldn't go back because I'd prefer other places over this one but it was a cool spot to check out.

Great place to go for organic, vegan and vegetarian dishes. Coffee and tea selection always on point. Adult beverages are a welcome recent addition. Entertainment in the evenings as well, including a jazz quartet on Sundays and open mics on Thursdays. Good place for meetings with small groups during the day, and a good vibe with great peeps!

Good food , great people. Jazz on Sunday morning and music at other times. Open Mic on Thursday that has presented some of the best local talent. They serve vegetarian and vegan dishes. I think they will uncork your own wine or crack your own beer for a dollar. 😀

Cute little cafe the music the night I came in was fabulous. The staff was very helpful and I could tell they were truly trying to do the best job possible. I did over hear a staff member giving advice to another staff member about not giving men her number and that she was too nice, and they she needed to be mean to them. I hope this isn’t advice she would take- being nice to people isn’t a lost art form. Pleasant experience and really liked this place.

We love this little gem in the gaslight district. The Sunday jazz brunch is one of our favorite times to visit. The food is quite good - they use fresh ingredients. The service is great. The ambience is funky, fun, and comfortable. There are books and board games for patrons. Local college students meet to study or chat. Local residents meet for lunch or prior to attending a movie or concert. Lydia's is like one of those funky finds you would discover in San Francisco, Chicago, or New York and it's right in the heart of Cincinnati.

Cool place with a nice variety of menu offerings. I also noticed quite an eclectic collection of alcohol at the bar which definitely makes this my kind of coffee shop. I had a soup, sandwich, and tea all were delicious and all served promptly. If I had a few more days to spend in Cincinnati I'd definitely come back especially for drinks at the bar.
