The food and the service is stellar! The staff here is so kind and truly stops to ask you how you are doing and listens. No matter how busy or long the line is they make you feel like the only person there. And the treats are out of this world. This is a must go for out of town visitors or before you head to a party empty handed. It’s also perfect for the treat yourself moment we all need.

THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE!!! Whoever is running the baked good and creating these recipes has one of the best pallets!! Best place in cincy for sure. The croissant was better than the ones I had in Europe! I am also a coffee snob and stand by their espresso and creative but simple late flavors that align with their desserts! I also had a savory pastry and is one of the best things I’ve had all year. Any bad reviewers need to work on their pallet! Matcha mint chocolate cookie was creative and surprisingly balanced, croissiont was perfect layered crunchy outside with soft center, the winter savory has included ingredients on the second photo was absolutely incredible. And for what you get the price is not outrageous 10/10

My favorite bakery in Cincinnati. The croissants are really well done - flakey, light, and not overwhelmingly buttery. While I like sweet things, I especially appreciate the savory baked goods like the focaccia. Brown Bear uses unique ingredients that you wouldn’t think belongs, but works really well together. Expect a line on weekend mornings. They do sell out.

The Black Bear Bakery is a delightful spot that offers a wide variety of delicious pastries and treats. The atmosphere is cozy, urban and perfect for enjoying a leisurely breakfast snack. Their blackberry croissant is an absolute favorite of mine - it's perfectly flaky, topped with juicy blackberries, along with a delicate goat cheese topping. Highly recommended!

This place is amazing. My partner found out about this place long ago and we said we'd visit Cincinatti just to try this place. High hopes that were met and exceeded! The croissants were amazing and in my opinion better than Sebastian's plain croissant. We couldn't help but try one of everything we could on the menu. All excellent. Can't wait to come back! Service was also great and the clerk up front hooked us up with recommendations for the area too!
