I was told to visit Japp's by my step father before I moved to Cincinnati and although it took me a few years I finally made it and could not have had a better time! I went ~mostly~ because of Camryn's poetry night, which I've never even been to a poetry reading or open mic or anything, and I just have to believe that was the best one to ever do it. Camryn was incredible and the vibes inside Japps matched just as perfectly. Loved our bartender Geoff too! Very knowledgeable about all things cocktails :) Definitely will be back for Camryn's next poetry night and to visit Geoff!

Wow the GM Adam and staff were incredible. Cam absolutely killed it with the poetry night. I LITERALLY cannot wait for the next one. The new aesthetics are incredible too, place has really turned around. Clearly the staff cares and is bringing it back to its former glory. But modern!

We were walking by and they had the door open. A wonderful band was playing and people were dancing. We went in and had a glass of wine and heard some great tunes. Thoroughly enjoyed our impromptu stop at Japp's last night.

Great cocktails and friendly service. Hot Mags were great! The bartenders could use a little help to keep things moving a bit quicker. Waited about 15 minutes to be served.
