They had me at Fried Chicken Buffet! And it was just the right ratio of crispy skin to juicy chicken to seasonings. The BBQ ribs were an extra score. Will definitely grab some Coconut Cream Pie on a 2nd trip!

If your looking for a non chain local hidden gem this is the place to come. We just happened to stumble across this hidden gem when putting gas in our car on our way back to Indiana. Definitely recommend checking this place out. Their menu is large and the food was great. Large portions and reasonably priced. I tried the Sliced Beef open face sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy it was very flavorful. My wife ordered the lunch breaded chicken sandwich. It was lightly hand breaded and was very large. Come hungry you won't be disappointed.

Food was great! I had the Chicken Corden Bleu and my wife had the open-faced turkey with gravy. Both of us waddled out of there completely stuffed! Huge portion sizes and each bite better than the last.
Only downside was that the pasta could have used more sauce, but the cheesiness made up for it.
I even took home a slice of chocolate cream pie and it was delicious, too! We've lived on the Westside for 23 years and this was our first visit to Ron's. Good bet it won't be another 23 years before we're back! 👍

I love their German food entrees. Their Fried Chicken is awesome. They have a full service bar. The staff was wonderful. I had so much food that showed up after I ordered I almost couldn't finish it. And that's saying something.

Ron’s roost has become one of our go to places. We had not been there in quite some time and decided to have dinner a few months ago and since we have been back nearly once a week. All the food, and it’s quite an extensive menu, has been very good. My husband loves the chicken.

I came here with a pretty large group of people. The food wasn't too bad. It wasn't anything unbelievably amazing, but it was pretty good! Our server was the nicest guy and always made sure we had everything we needed and kept the refills coming, service was an absolute 10/10

A co-worker and I stopped in for lunch for the first time. We both ordered the chicken and waffles with Mac and cheese. We both enjoyed it! The chicken was very tender and juicy. The waffle was very light but stayed crispy. The Mac and cheese had a good flavor and creaminess. I will definitely be back!

Oh, the memories.
I hadn't been to Ron's Roost for close to 20 years after living out of state but everything came flooding back right away.
Best fried chicken around.
And - I remembered quarters for the Egg Machine so I was a big hit with the next generation of regulars in the family.
