Lomas Cafe

Last time I was here my son was 6 or 7 years old. Now he is 23. My wife and I visited Lomas for a late lunch recently. We got a table in their patio and ordered some milanesa for my wife and chile verde for me plus a couple of iced teas and coffee . Food was delicious and plentiful. Prices were fair and service could be better but now the way things are everybody is short on staff we understand . We will be back when in the area

Best Mexican food ever! I came here with my family and had a wonderful experience with respect to food and service! Alexander was our bartender and he made the most amazing cocktails! I had a spicy passion fruit margarita (with Vodka) and it did not disappoint. Natalia was our waitress and she was so attentive, kind and personable—all around an amazing lady. Thank you so much for all that you both did to make our experience perfect. We will definitely be back!

Poor service from the wait staff. Rude and VERY inattentive. We were pretty much ignored entirely unless we flagged them down. They seemed put out by actually doing the job that they're paid for. The floor was very sticky as was one of our chairs. The horchata and tea were really tasty but nothing else. The salsa was watery and very bland - no spice, no flavor. The kids chicken nuggets were mushy and the underside was wet and soggy like they were just tossed in the microwave. The other entrees were decent sized but just utterly devoid of flavor. My order came out incorrect and the server tried to make it my fault somehow. She re-read what she had written down earlier and saw that I was correct and begrudgingly took the food back. What came back out was correct but sloppily thrown on the plate and was falling apart. Very unappealing and unappetizing. We dined inside but were bombarded by flies once the food was brought out. Overall a very poor dining experience. Will not dine here again.

Before I brag about the food, the staff were over the top friendly and very attentive. I thank you all for the welcoming feeling as soon as I walked in. I ordered lunch with a beer and had a great conversation. I would have hung around for more but had an appointment. This place has excellent menudo and cold beer. I'll be back for more food and drinks. Hopefully to continue the great conversation.

Good menu variation and location. This place might not be ideal for large groups but if you call ahead of time they might be able to arrange something for you. This restaurant comes with a bar section also. My brothers and I all head different meals and we were all satisfied. My pops loves this place.
