Nothing Bundt Cakes

I have purchased cakes often and they have always been delicious, however before Covid, I purchased a Snickerdoodle cake to take out of town at Christmas for a family get together. When we opened it, it was labeled Snickerdoodle, but was a Lemon cake which few cared for. I called and they immediately offered to replace it with another cake. Fast forward to last week, a year and half later, when I purchased a Marble cake for a family event. Took it out of the fridge an hour before serving and as it warmed up the frosting started to cut through the cake and sink to the bottom of the plate. It appeared that the cake didn't come out of the pan correctly and they tried to put it back together and cover it up with frosting. When I cut it every piece crumbled. It looked disastrous and not something I felt good about serving. If I had had another dessert, I wouldn't have served it. I called the store and told Stephanie, the manager, what happened and suggested she tell her frosters not to try to fix a mistake. She thanked me for letting her know and asked that I e-mail pictures because she needed to see if perhaps the heat caused it to sink. I sent the pic with an e-mail explaining that it went from my air conditioned car into my fridge 5 minutes after I picked it up, as I live close to the store so couldn't be the heat. I also asked for a reduction or coupon for a future purchase as none was offered and I felt this was an employee mistake. I got a "Dear Valued Customer" e-mail "we will get back to you as soon as possible." 2 days later and I have heard nothing. My advice, open the box and look at your purchase carefully before you leave the store! Additional Note: Stephanie the manager did get back to me on day three and offered to replace the item. I am most appreciative, but will ALWAYS make them open the box so I can check the cake carefully from now on.

If I could only find the words to encapsulate the sheer splendor—no, heavenliness—of my Nothing Bundt Cakes experience… Each morsel of their marble cake breathed new life into my soul. I wish for nothing more than to be married at this bakery, to give life to my children at this bakery, and to grow old at this bakery, so that the very fabrics of our auras may be interwoven throughout all of space and time. We had our I do, bbq recently and decided to go with nothing bundt cakes to do our red velvet and 8 dozen bundtini cupcakes. We did an assortment of different flavors. They were very professional at taking our order, had the order ready at the desired pickup time and they were absolutely delicious. People raved about how awesome they were. They also set up in a very cute way. Thank you!

Hello fellow friends, neighbors and co-workers in the Cary and morrisville community. Let me tell you about an experience with this business that I had today. I returned a limited time Snickerdoodle Bundtlet cake that I purchased yesterday because it was dry and did not taste fresh. I was given the run around by the young ladies working at the front who were informing me that there was nothing they could or would do. They did however, go to the back and speak to the baker who I can only assume is the manager/owner regarding my disappointment. They showed him or her the bundtlet that I had brought back and they returned to inform me that the baker had said there was nothing wrong with it and that they would not exchange it for a different one or refund my money. At no time did the baker/owner come to the front and speak to me personally, hiding behind the curtain like the all powerful Wizard of OZ. Please do yourself all a favor, and don't continue to support this business. It's not only about their product that drives me to write this poor review. It's also, how they treat their "valued" customer". Their lack of respect and professionalism only proves that they are only in it for the money and not the community relation. I ask, how much can it possibly cost them to either refund or exchange an item? Is it worth losing customers over it? This is not my first time visiting and purchasing their product. I have been going there since they first opened as I'm sure many of you have been too. It's very sad that one poorly interaction can leave a negative lasting impression. Anyone reading this review, should ask themselves, with so many fine bakeries in Cary (Once in a Blue Moon Bakery, Annelore's German Bakery, LaFarm Bakery, Custom Confections Desert Shop, etc), do we need to subject ourselves to this kind of rude treatment? Please note that in all the negative reviews, all the manger/owner replies have been to contact some customer support website and not answer personally with an apology or solution. Just more of the same rude behavior.

I am so disappointed in this place. I ordered three cupcake flavors to try and I ended up liking the chocolate chocolate chip. On my birthday, I ordered the cake version of that flavor and it was nothing like the cupcake. It was dry and had no single chocolate chip in it. What a waste of money! It was my first time buying their expensive cakes and it certainly will be my last. Get your cake at whole foods--- their cakes are delicious and cost half the money!

I didn't know it was my mother-in-law's birthday until my partner said, "Oh damn, it's my mom's birthday today!" I asked what type of cake does she like? Within seconds told me, "go to Nothing Bundt Cakes and get her a red velvet flavored cake." I went to the website and saw the amazing pictures. Of course, I had a lot of expectations due to that and reviews. Well, as I entered the shop to pick the cake up, Kia had a great smile on her face and welcomed me like no other bakery has. She asked what she could helped me with and I said I was picking up a cake. 🎂 I was wowed when I saw the final product. Not in pictures, but in real life. Geez! Stunning decoration and the flavored was beyond expected. I totally recommend Nothing Bundt Cakes for your next special occasion. 👍
