Nice little place. Had cheese paneer parata and kadak chai. The parata was really great, the taste was similar to the ones we get in India. I had disappointing experiences in multiple Indian restaurants in Cambridge but this was really good. They gave pickles, curd and butter along with the parata. Chai was really good. The Elaichi flavour was quite good.

The food is absolutely incredible, so delicious! Really fresh quality ingredients and authentic flavours. Hands down the BEST street style food I have ever had. I don't even live in this city but I'll be travelling back purely to get this food again. The customer service was outstanding, such lovely people. 5 star place hands down.

Updated: Best Bubble Tea in town. Fantastic chai and Kashmir chai. Amazing crunchy chat! Desi biscuits and rusk to dip in your chai. You can customise the strength of your tea. I LOVE THIS PLACE! FANTASTIC! Finally an authentic North Indian Restaurant in Cambridge!!!! The parathas, curries, chaats! Chapatis! Everything is divine. I am going to be eating a paratha a day. Perfect and REAL parathas. Gorgeously stuffed with potatoes. Chicken curry and vegetarian soy curry to die for. A real salan curry, like it’s meant to be. Love the food so much. And I’m a hard core foodie who writes on Pakistani food blogs, so I know my desi (South Asian) food. Hope they maintain this standard. Love it. Perfect food to have with a karak (strong) chai (cuppa tea) The samosa chat was also a real samosa and not those fake frozen dramas. The chutney was also delicious. Family polished it off really fast 😂 Awesome attitude and service as well. LOVE URBAN CHAI! 5 Stars and I would give more if they had more to give! My mum is thanking Urban Chai for the amazing buttered parathas she’s having for her Eid meal and we LOVED the rajma daal last night over rice. Took me back to my Saasu Mas Kashmiri cooking! Fantastic ❤️ CLEAN Hygienic and had the best karak chai evah! Am really fussy about my tea and have to share how delicious it was.

Their veggie items are excellent, I liked chees and onion paratha. It’s the best! The chicken paratha was ok and did feel that their chicken paratha was frozen not made in their kitchen. It’s a small place with only four stools to sit and eat in. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the young lady on the till. The price of the products was ok if I compare it with Cambridge. Overall the vibe of the restaurant was good but it would have been nice to have more places to dine in.
