Had the beeef and chicken nachos for lunch, they were tasty. The restaurant is dimly lit and needs a paint job and some cleaning. The employee (maybe owner) was nice and the service was expedient. I like that they have El Yucateco hot sauce available. Not sure if I would visit again as there was nothing too special about the food and the lack of upkeep I see in the restaurant makes me wonder if they are skimping on quality and safety in the kitchen.

First time here and it was in an old Pizza Hut but well maintained with a friendly staff. Authentic Mexican food. We had enchiladas and quesadillas and they came fast and hot. Food was good and I wanted more. I have eaten at other locations in the past but this one was pretty well run and was good. Would go back.

I enjoyed my meal at Plaza Tapatia. The staff was friendly & attentive, and the food was filling & good. I ordered the Chuletas Rojas and was very pleased.

My husband and I went here last night and were both very happy with our appetizers and meals! We got the chorizo queso and I got the Poblana enchiladas. I wasn't a huge fan on the poblano sauce because I think it had mole in it, but everything was really flavorful. We had prompt service, the waitress was pleasant, the owner checked in with us, the place was very clean and it was a very relaxing setting. We how to hit this place again next time we come down to Maryland 😋 Thank you for the delicious food!

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE OUTSIDE APPEARANCE. THE FOOD IS AMAAAAAZING, AND IS WAY BEYOND the current 3.9 rating it has.
The chips and salsa...9.5. The queso, we asked for separately...10.0
Shrimp soup...9.0 (we wished they had other seafood like scallops, mussels, etc. In the soup)
Hawaiian fajitas...10.0000000...as good as it gets...perfect.
The service was excellent, the food came out rather quickly. We are staying close by at the Hyatt/Chesapeake, and we would definitely come back again!!
