Pressed Juicery

Very excitedly, I chose 4 different flavors and paid nearly $35. They must have been some of the worse tasting juices I ever had in my whole life. Ended up throwing more than half. Not even that healthy since I have realized later on that they are not freshly squeezed. Won’t make that mistake again and will instead get my juices at Whole Foods.

I'm a VIP member and I buy my juices from this branch regularly. Today, I ordered a Celery Juice Bundle (5 for $20), coffee protein, orange tumeric and vanilla almond. The server messed up my order and instead of giving me a celery juice bundle, gave me 1 celery juice and added a banana protein in my bag. When I requested to change my order, she said I've already paid so I needed to make a new order for my juice bundle. So, I placed a second order, but instead of getting 5 bottles, I only received 4 bottles for my bundle. When I asked for the 5th bottle, she said that was included in my first order. I explained the situation to her, to which she completely ignored. When I asked for the receipts for both orders, she said it should be in my online account as I paid with my membership wallet. However, it says on the website that store purchase is not reflected online. At this point, I was so tired of explaining the situation to her so I asked to double-bag the the two bags (total 9 bottles) that I have bought. She said these bags will not break. I told her that I come here often and I have a 2-mile walk back to which she insisted again that the bags will not break. Well, as you can see from the photos below, (unsurprisingly) the condensation of the chilled juices caused the paper bags to come apart on the way back. This experience has been highly unpleasant - first, getting short-changed and then ignored when trying to explain the situation. And second, having to carry 9 chilled juices with my two arms because the store insist on saving on the cost of two papers bags. I will be cancelling my membership with Pressed Juicery.

Was excited to see a vegan soft serve place, but disappointed with the high prices and small serving sizes. I paid $6 for a small chocolate soft serve and three toppings, and the middle of my cup was also hollow (see photo). The soft serve itself was fine (it definitely tasted healthy; my friend's mango was more refreshing and true to taste). Wouldn't come back.

I was in Spaulding for about 3 1/2 weeks and my dad would come visit me every night. He would get me a smoothie every time and now that I see a therapeutist every 6 months for therapy at outpatient Spaulding, a new brace every 2 years and Botox when I see her for my right hand we get one before we get home. They always taste great. They recognize us after going there for 6 years! That's what I tell myself when I go there, 'when we're done you get the smoothie for the ride home.' I suggest trying them!

Pressed is a really wonderful juice bar in close proximity to Harvard. If you’re spending the day in this area than it’s easy to pop in to drink something refreshing that isn’t another beer. I had the Roots 1 because I can’t get enough of beet juice. They have a ton of options, and the best thing is they have a sale if you get 2 juices.
