Cracker Barrel

Was a little skeptical about eating Thanksgiving dinner here after a bad dinner experience many years ago, but so glad we gave it a try. The food and service were exceptional as was the atmosphere. We sat by their gorgeous massive stone fireplace that made it so cozy using actual logs as opposed to a gas fireplace. They had beautifully decorated Christmas trees among other decorations. Restaurant was clean and servers were very attentive considering how crowed they were. This place goes on our top 5 list for exceptional restaurants for dining!

Nice Cracker Barrel location. Stopped on a road trip for dinner. I had breakfast which is always good. The family had dinner food and loved it. The wife spent a long time in the store and found some great Christmas presents. The location is easy to get to right off the interstate. I would recommend to any weary traveler.

Food is usually always excellent! Great prices and friendly staff. If you are lucky to go in the evening, they usually have the fire going and the oil lamps lit on the table. You can pass the time with the peg board game that is on the table (harder than you think). The gift shop is absolutely fanominal!! So many great items that you can always find something to purchase.

Had friends visit from canada. All they wanted was to go to CB. Just got back. The food and service were excellent! The radio was a bit loud. That would be my only complaint. The sausage was so smooth! Nice smokey flavor, not spicy, not to greasy, not to dry. French toast and eggs were fluffy, not chewy. Okra was meaty/seedy and perfect! I forgot the name of my server, too. We were seated at 5pm or so, at a 4 flat, by the front windows. But she was great, prompt, efficient. The little store part surprised me, I expected prices to be high, and they certainly were not! The wife of our couple got tired (she's older) and went to wait outside. One of the workers in the store sought us out, when she couldn't find her husband. That was a blessing. She was just tired, though. My husband and I will come back again!

It was super busy. There was a wait. They way the do their wait list made NO SENSE. A manager just in front of the fireplace. But the server was wonderful. She was on her game. Like seriously! I did not catch her name. The food was good, hot, Just know the sausage gravy is not the normal style. Sorry but it tasted horrible. Lesson learned.
