This was my first visit for a gig at Portland Arms. I'm not sure how that's happened but I'll be back. Fabulous venue. On a warm August evening, with an energetic band, it was very hot and sweaty.
I'll be back..... parking is a nightmare though!

The place is absolutely great. Right place with a venue for listening to live music.

Sitting the sunshine listening to Rachel Hill in the courtyard and watching the Chef preparing delicious looking food on the BBQ.
This what enterprising British pubs are about, well done, keep it up so we can support you.

Went to watch a gig here on Sunday night : great selection of beers, good food and the sound engineer was top notch : all the bands sounded the best I've ever heard them!

Nice little pub, great selection of beers, cant go wrong. Live band where on when we where there which seemed good, and its all clean and tidy. Good for having a few drinks of an evening

I came here on a Saturday to attend some comedy as part of the sound and vision festival. I didn’t order anything but the pub looked lovely. The toilets were clean although a little small! Their venue space is great and pretty spacious.

The Portland Arms is a fantastic venue and pub. We visited on a weeknight for a gig in the events room. We arrived an hour ahead, to enjoy some time in the bar, and were greeted by really lovely staff, and a huge choice of drinks. Although we only ordered some snacks, the menu is comprehensive, and there were lots of diners enjoying some great looking grub.
The events room itself is intimate, has its own bar, and is a really stunning place to enjoy live music.
All seven of us commented on the charms of the venue, and will absolutely be back. Highly recommended.
