Moving in day and I had read reviews of this, my now local fish and chip shop, and I was not disappointed. Fabulous food, fabulous staff and reasonable prices. Loved it.

Honestly the best chippie in Cambridge and nowhere else comes even close - you know it's good when they're out of cod by 7pm usually

Been going to this chippy for most of my life, it being just over the road from my Nan's and in all that time it has never once disappointed.
Easily one of the best chippies in Cambridge.

I always have fish and chips from here when I am in Cambridge. However, under the new management it is still good but not as good as it was.
Fish was excellent but the batter was less crispy than it was under the previous team. Chips were not as good as they were. Portion size is still huge.
It used to be five stars all the way but has now dropped a star for me.

Excellent chips, cooked just right and not too greasy. Sausage/Saveloy was both excellent, chicken burger decent also.

I’d heard that Viking had new owners and became curious to see if the previous superb standards were still in place.
I’m so pleased to say the food was just as good as always with great portions!
It can’t have been easy to take over such a well ran and established fish and chip shop but they new guys are doing great!
Keep it going chaps! I’ll be back!

Huge portion of not so delicious chips, a rather nice but oily fish, some pricey sausages. Never feel very well after eating here to be honest though.

First time to eat proper fish and chips in 3 years and I’m glad I discovered The Viking Chippy!
I treated myself to the sausage in batter, regular cod and small chips (which were large!)
