Food was fresh as can be, salsa was amazing. Waited over 10 minutes up front for someone to come out to seat us. Also we came in and seen Monday margarita special so we got one for the $5 price, got charged $8. The lady that we first dealt with stated that it is Monday and didn't disclose us NOT getting the special but at the time of check/pay the 2nd server checked with the first server we delt with that she never disclosed it and told us "sorry" and made us pay for it anyway. Did a split plate and charged 2.50 Was going to leave a large tip as our service was quite well besides waiting and check issue. We were very impressed with the food so this was going to be a weekly or bi-weekly place as we just moved to burlington. There are multiple other Mexican style food opportunities in Burlington. Treat the community right and you'll stand out over the rest.

A great authentic Mexican food option in Burlington. We've been here several times and they always hit the spot. Endless tacos and margs arent all they aspire to be though. Had three margs and didn't taste or feel a drop of booze. Left 100% sober so I suspect they are pouring light but can't prove it. Go for the food and hold off on the booze. Otherwise you'll end up paying 70+ for a sobering realization.

I have been going to this minority, family owned restaurant for over a decade. Have always had friendly and fast service. This visit I had the chicken and beef tacos, American and Mexican style, served with rice and beans, and everything tasted very good. A highlight of Los Compadres is their tomatillo salsa that's made fresh in-house each day - be sure to ask for some with your chips and salsa.
