Avenue Pizza & Subs

I grew up in the area and love their Italian sausage subs. I'm now on the west coast and can't get there more than once every 4- 5 years. Any suggestion as to where I could order the same sausage patties that you buy from? Years ago someone at the store told me the name of the supplier. Would appreciate if you could tell me. I would give them 0 stars if that was an option.They lied to us. On Saturday, August 18, 2018 we made an order for a large sheet pizza and 30 wings which came to the price of $50 and some change. We get home and the pizza is burned all on the sides and all on the bottom. So my mom calls back and tells one of the workers that the pizza is burned. The worker tells my mom that we can either come today and get a new pizza or get a free one later. When my mom says that she would like a free one later, the worker says that she put the number that we called on in the system and to use that same number to call again to get the free pizza. We try to order a free one today at 12:13PM and the owner says "I don't see it in the system, I can't take your word for it, call back after 4 when the worker that was here that took your order can verify this". So we call after 4 and shes there but this made no difference. The owner tell the worker the situation and she says that she doesn't know what we are talking about. The owner then tells us that they can't help us and to have a nice day. We order there often and will no longer support this business.

Avenues is pretty good... I had got food within the past year or so with them but been back and forth overall. The guys and girls are pretty cool and friendly when you come in and order. They took my card over the phone so that was big plus as far as convenience. I think I ordered sub and it was pretty good. Delivery was pretty quick as well. Two thumbs up to the crew!!!

I recently bought a house in the neighborhood and wanted to try the local restaurants. To be honest, I was incredibly nervous the first time I ordered from here, having seen the slew of negative reviews the place has received. My first experience was perfectly fine to the point that I have returned twice more already. Food was good, people were nice enough, the only issue I have had is the one time I asked for delivery instead of picking it up I was told 30-45 minutes and it took over two hours for the food to be delivered half a mile up the road. The delivery guy did seem overwhelmed and was very apologetic when he arrived. All in all, I have no gripes and plan on returning again soon.

Only reason I gave this place a 3 star as for neutral is 'cause I've got mixed feelings about this place not even compared to how good food was just a year ago or so. There appears to be new employees that work there and deliver to me but boy, let me tell ya...it seems now they make food like their attitude. I nvr ordered from a place where I actually had to strip search my food. I mainly order beef tacos and hot wings. But however, I'll just stick with 'Solo Eats' for now 'cause I can tastefully tell the difference. Hope this place improves the nxt time I return to add review. I'd hate to see another lost ☆

Thought it was Avenue pizza it's not changed to Platinum pizza. Got the family pack for 40$ the wings were good nicely done. The pizza is TRASH inconsistent crust thick doughy undercooked nasty stringy with cheese and pepperoni. I threw the whole pie away didn't wanna get sick from eating un cooked pizza dough.

Placed an order today for a steak sandwich and char bbq all flat wings and I was very pleased. It arrived on time, was hot and the gentleman on the phone was very polite and the delivery man was very nice. I live downtown and he explained the reason he could not come up which I totally understood seeing as though their getting robbed left and right! I will order from them again.
