Thirsty Buffalo

A standard Buffalo sports bar. However it's got plenty of space if you want to get away from the sports and crowds. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The food is very good, but not the healthiest options (if you're watching your waistline). Give it a try if you're looking for some good drinks, food, and chill atmosphere

Covid knocked the beer taps in half, but still an amazing selection of local craft beers & regular beers. Food selection is typical of what you'd want from a Buffalo Hometown Pub. Beef on weck, wings, burgers & the occasional sahlen hot dogs on special. Specials daily/weekly for food. Excellent service, with attention to detail (you'll never go thirsty in Buffalo here). Plenty of tv's for all your sport needs. Watched the boltz best the Canadians here (I'm back and forth from Tampa to the area, go Boltz!). Not a bad place to meet up with friends, go on a date or play trivia Tuesdays at 7.

First two times I was there the bartender and then waitress I had were phenomenal! Guy at the front door checking IDs, also delightful. Last time our guy never asked if we wanted refills or checked back in, also kind of insulted me by the way I was saying things. Very aloof and lethargic. Then the food came and it just okay and a bit pricey for the overall quality/quantity. I would recommend this place for when you're looking to get a table in a pinch with a bunch of friends who are feeling thirsty and need somewhere to watch the game

drinks and fries were excellent, sandwiches and (most) burgers were rather bland. they have outdoor seating though, which was nice. place was very clean. noise level inside is at the point where you'd have to raise your voice to be heard from two feet away. bartenders are a mixed bag. some are very good at dealing with people (both the drunk and sober types), and some just seem rather run down with the work, mainly on weekends when it's real busy. had a rather odd experience with the restrooms, though? there isn't anything single-stall or gender neutral, in which case i prefer to use the mens' for the the urinals. but one time, one of the bartenders seemed to become rather upset with me, pointing me off to the ladies' room and yelling "no!" when i tried to ask what was wrong. as expected, the ladies' restroom just had the regular stalls. perhaps they had a long day, but that experience was definitely was a first for me.
