A gem in Buffalo, for sure! Handcrafted soups, sandwiches and entrees that will blow your mind! Chris and his family are on hand, ever so gracious, and always happy to hear about how we enjoy the food, atmosphere, and at the end.....the cookies! Do NOT go away from here without the cookies! When in BFLO, you absolutely MUST go to Chris'!

I've heard of this place from a few friends. Was very excited to try them and they lived up to the hype. Got a pastrami sandwich and it was phenomenal with a heaping pile of meat on it. Bread was fresh and wonderful as well. My friend got the turkey brie sandwich and once again was piled with meat and extras. Can't wait to try more items from the menu.

Food is great-I order here multiple times a month with large orders for offices in the area, the foods always great but I will say the woman that handles the takeout counter/phone always has an attitude, she’ll say please and thank you but will roll her eyes and half and puff behind the counter and complain about being busy. Which is a good problem to have and is not equate to being rude to customers who want to order. I have experience on multiple occasions if not every occasion, I would have given five stars if it wasn’t for that

Unfortunately poor customer service will make me take my lunch business to others in the downtown area. I realize post Covid stress with employees etc. but first impressions mean a lot. Yes food is good, but I’d rather deal with more friendlier counter staff . The lady that answers the phone and who ever responds to messages needs some improvement with customer service skillls , it’s not a strong trait of theirs.

Maybe the second time in my life that I ordered fish tacos. I wasn't prepared for the portion size that this place had to offer. Seriously, the fish taco was more like a burrito, if the burrito was a rocket launcher. Either way that taco with French fries (they are awesome by the way) should be dinner for two or three. Not one single person in my group could finish their meal. And I was starving when I showed up. The fish pieces each looked liked like the round end of a tennis racket. 🎾 as a Canadian coming to this restaurant there aren't many places that I could compare this joint to. Everything we decided to eat was delicious. To be fair, we had a hard time deciding what to eat, because the list of sandwiches is so large and everything sounds so good, but we ended up with the Portabella mushroom one and the goat cheese and turkey burger, and we didn't regret our choice. Chris and his team will ensure you leave their place with a full belly and a smile on your face.
