Royal Family Restaurant

Stopped here for an early dinner. I ordered a turkey sandwich along with mashed potatoes. The sandwich was piled high with real turkey breast meat. No cheating using deli cold cuts here. Also the mashed potatoes were real potatoes and not instant. The serving size was more than your typical scoop. It was more along the lines of a scoop and a half. Definitely have to stop by here again soon.

Loved it! The only reason I don't give them a 5 is because the eggs Benedict didn't have hollandaise sauce and the coffee was bad. That said everything else was awesome 😎. Great service, clean, awesome staff. Great portions!!! Loved the pancakes!!!! The food was great!!!! Do not go to the restaurant across the street.

My original review was removed so here it is again. Walked in, was greeted with an attitude. We were told to sit down anywhere. We sat outside and waited. We waited almost an hour as multiple servers walked passed us. Many of them were too busy socializing with each other to acknowledge us. We ended up walking out.

Inferior to average food here , waitresses will tell you to not order specials ,they know the chili is old hamburger meat for instance .owner and his friends play cards and tournaments in other room and his family slaves as managers and dessert makers . Great place at 2 a.m. and no where else is open.

I stopped at the Royal as a last meal before I hit the border back into Canada. I ordered a soup started and a beef Souvlaki Dinner plate, even though it was around lunch time. The soup was probably THE SINGLE BEST soup I have eaten in my entire life !!! I wish I tried it before I ordered my food because I would have ordered 2 bowls of it for dinner and a bowl to go !!! It was honestly THAT good !!! The staff was very friendly and most of the customer seemed to be regulars there and knew all the staff... the beef Souvlaki Dinner was great, if I could complain about one thing it is that I live too far away to go back and I'll probably never get to try that soup again ! =(

Best breakfast I've had for a while. Everything we had was incredible and the portions were huge. House made corned beef hash. Amazing banana bread French toast. Enormous omelets. Home fries (pay the couple extra cents for the peppers and onions!). Everything was cooked perfectly. I ordered eggs over medium and they came EXACTLY right. I wish I lived closer to this place, and will go out of my way to come here anytime I'm remotely close.
