Brooklyn Pub

I'm so glad Brooklyn Pub is available for patio dining during this COVID period. I had my company's annual dinner here end of year 2019. It was a wonderful experience. Now I'm referring them to my client for their mini wedding luncheon. Without a doubt, Justin from the restaurant was able to help me in each and every way. Helpful and friendly services, delicious food, beautiful environment... highly recommended

Visited the pub on a weekend late afternoon as there was a total of 4 people in the bar. Wanted to get a simple lunch was all and ordered a bacon cheeseburger. I was surprised that after 30 minutes my food didn't arrive, the waitress/bartender didn't go back to the kitchen to check on it nor did they check in with me. After 35 minutes, the kitchen bell rang and the server was at the bar talking with 2 people, laughing and was not moving towards the kitchen. I turned around, 3 minutes later and she was walking towards me, I asked her if my food was ready and she went to the back and brought it out. Burger was good and fine, when I got the bill I was surprised it cost $20 for a pub style bacon cheeseburger. I understand its NYC/Brooklyn and pricing but for the money paid it was not worth that price and especially waiting over 35 minutes in a mostly empty venue. Plenty of bars and restaurants in Park Slope that I can visit with faster service, sense of urgency and better pricing. The pub had a cool atmosphere with several tv's for sports and wall signage. I think there is potential to have good service there at some days/times and servers but I normally get much better service around the area hence my 2 stars.
