I like to call this food Chexican, as it is Mexican food made by Chinese people. It's in no way authentic (so spare me your rant about how you're from California and this isn't really Mexican food), but it's still very tasty when you're in the mood for greasy takeout. When I first went there and got cheese enchiladas, they microwaved some cheese in a plastic container and dumped it in a tortilla. I was grossed out but it was actually very tasty. Not really an enchilada, but whatever it is, I like it. They make their own tortillas on a little machine, and they are very fluffy and fresh.

When this place opened up in an area already filled with mexican restaurants I was dubious--their garish sign didn't help. But they definitely stand out as having the most carefully crafted and unique menu of the lot. As the quality and taste goes up, so does the price. A full belly isn't cheap at this spot, but your taste buds will thank you even if your wallet doesn't.

I didn't think a taco place that looked like a Chinese takeout made sense at first, but looks are deceiving. Fact is their tex-mex food is good and cheap. I've been there 3 times already and still like it a lot.
