Pretty tasty food. Our family just got back from Guangzhou and we were craving authentic Cantonese food— Lucky Eight hit the spot. We went there for dinner and the restaurant was 2/3 full and it was mostly large groups that came in. Food came fairly quickly. Everything tastes good albeit a tad on the saltier side. Pricing was moderate $48 for 4 dishes. Portion size was decent. Roast pork was a lot of food! We’d definitely come back. p.s. the salty peanuts we so yummy. My 4 year old wanted me to ask the waiter to box them up. I opted to put them in a napkin instead. :)

New Owner, New Chef. Menu totally changed from before. Food is not good anymore. Use to be good. No wonder only 2 tables on a Sunday night during dinner time. Before it's usually it's packed.

Michelin recommended resturant for 6 years running. Nice and friendly staff. AMAZING customer service. They have a menu with a picture of all their main dishes!
I think I ordered wrong -- got the glass duck. It was interesting, but probably not what they're known for?... Would definitely come back!
Edit: I've been here twice now. The food is fine. Didn't blow me away.

We went really late, near closing time. There was no one around by the time we finish our food. We didn't know they closer a bit earlier due to covid but they did not rush us out the door. The food was priced fair, and it was delicious. Will come back here soon. Recommended. They accept card also but I think cash is still king

The duck here is perfection. Its enough for two and the cabbage and carrots were sweet and crunchy, pairing with the duck in a way I didn't think possible. The staff was very friendly and served us some hot tea and ended our meal with freshly sliced oranges. I loved it and would definitely be going back.

We came in to this friendly place off the windy, cold street and the seafood soup with fish maw was exactly what we needed. The roast duck and sweet-and-sour pork on rice were perfectly prepared. We would go back in a second; so much more on the menu to enjoy!

Got the 2 item bbq over rice. The pork was delicious, but the duck was way too salty. Every bite felt like a salt bomb

Really good Peking pork chops. My husband also likes their beef chow fun (dry version). Reasonably priced.
