French Epi

Such great food and great service! This location overall is amazing! Every visitor got personal treatment. Good prices for the area and the food is so fresh and tastes delicious! I ordered steak and it was the best steak in my life! Even their cocktails are great! If you want some great food and are in the area, pop right in! You won't regret it. Everybody should go there and try best food and best hosts! Can't wait to go there again!

I dined at French Epi for the first time the other night. As a chef myself I can tell you I enjoyed the food. I ate the Foie gras mousse and the duck. Both had excellent flavor and components. It was really good which left me wondering why there was no clients. Anyone who reads this I push to try French Epi. French food just like in Manhattan but here in greenpoint. Price is reasonable for what you get and also the style of food

I have traveled past French Epi a few times and never stopped in although I meant to, but I did stop today and I'm so glad that I did! The lunch special was delicious and filling and even better, inexpensive. The service was also highly regarded as the server was kind and patient and attentive. The inside decor is quite nice with attractive lighting and comfortable seats and live plants here and there. I had a great time and I will be sure to stop in again!

I've eaten here several times, and every dish has been delicious. Even their bread while you wait is excellent -- come with some sort of califlower truffle spread that I would buy in bulk if they sold it to take home. Their lunch special for $15 for three courses is excellent. My husband loved the salmon, and their burger was perfect with some delicious sauce that, again, I'm not sure what it was but I'd like to have it to spread on everything. And their passion fruit tart! It came out, and it looked like a regular tart with some pretty plating. It is, so good, not overly sweet, just the right amount of tang, OMG yum. Don't underestimate this little tart, it's freakin' delicious. In fact, that's my theme of this review. Don't underestimate this not-yet discovered by the masses gem, it's freakin' delicious.

Went today for brunch with two friends. They were setting up for two parties but allowed us to stay. The staff is unbelievable so friendly and caring. The food is amazing... I definitely would recommend this restaurant. Well worth the time and the prices are right. They definitely will be seeing me again. I wish them much success.
