Cant lie, we turned around when we saw the B grade at the entrance. But it was raining and we didn't want to explore the MOFAD on an empty stomach, so we went in. It claims to be a Caribbean/Jamaican style spot but we wanted to judge for ourselves. The layout is dope. I could see myself coming here frequently during the summer. The squad ordered some whiskey and ginger ales, a bloody Mary and some specialty drink. Drinks were good. For food we got the jerk chicken plate and the jerk chicken sandwich. The plate came with cole slaw and a salad. Both sides were good. Slaw was great. Salad was good because of the house dressing. Chicken was legit. My boy said the sandwich was really good and the fries were excellent. Turn that B into an A and ill be back in July.

Battery Harris is nothing short of amazing. My husband and I were regulars so decided to have our wedding there on 9/23/17. What a GREAT call it was! Their food is amazing and the managers Laurence and Johnny did everything they could to make it a fantastic day. Their DJ kept even my grandmas dancing all night! Everyone is still calling to tell us what a great time it was and how great the food was! I have nothing but great experiences here!

Unsure why this place only has a mediocre rating! I came here on a quiet Monday night because of the Diner's Deck cards that we got as a White Elephant gift, thanks Jeff + Alina! We were extremely excited to try this place out because of its Caribbean food and chill vibes. I lived in the neighborhood for so long and never visited, only when I moved out I find this gem. The staff were really nice and we could sit wherever we wanted considering it was pretty much empty. It was dark and the atmosphere truly helped me enjoy a relaxing quiet dinner. We got a booth on the right side when you entered. On the table they had interesting sauces for your food. We ordered the - steak taco - battery burger -spicy jamaican jerk wings -curried veggie baked patty I enjoyed the steak taco, but the steak pieces were a bit too big for a taco - I was almost choking myself b/c it was so difficult to chew. The battery burger was fresh and delicious - cooked to perfection of medium rare. The Jerk wings were definitely our favorite. They put fresh chives on top - it didn't necessary taste like JERK chicken, but a good refreshing spin on it - it tasted more Asian with a zing. The veggie patty was interesting, but would have had more of the taco instead. I cant wait until it's warmer to chill and hangout here! A satisfying meal indeed!

Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere and lots of entertainment. The place is partially outdoors, it's all still enclosed but there's no roof so you get a nice view of the sky and enjoy and nice weather. Food is Caribbean flavored, which I love, and features a couple of staples as well as some special dishes. This place turns into something like a lounge at night with music, people dancing, drinking and dinner seems to be served all through the night. There's also games available for you to play, like Uno, Connect 4, dominos and Jenga, to name a few, so after you eat you have your choice to dance or play a few games (as I did), so there's plenty of entertainment. I say this place makes for good night of fun or a change of pace on a date night.
