A local institution, this tiny Italian shop has some of the best fresh mozzarella in Brooklyn. Delicious homemade pasta sauces (vodka, marinara, pesto), different types of imported prosciutto by the pound, and so much more.

Caputo's is the best!! Their online customer service is amazing too – I ordered chocolates that unfortunately melted in transit, and they immediately shipped out replacements along with an extra gift too. Completely unnecessary, but so generous, I'll definitely be shopping here again!

Franco was wonderful helped me adventure into trying new meats and cheeses for a charcuterie - his recommendations were so good! Amazing selection of deli, prepared, dry and frozen items!! Will definitely be back 😊

This is one of my favorite places in all of Carroll Gardens. Makes me feel like I travelled back in time, everyone is friendly, and everything is delicious. They semi-recently came out with a sandwich menu. I always ordered their Italian combo in the past but I can't wait to try them all!

one of the most amazing places in brooklyn. got fresh salted mozzarella, burrata, dry salami and fresh manicotti. everything was incredible and well priced. can’t wait to go back.

The fresh balls of Mozzarella are like little clouds from Heaven that drop themselves into a bath of salt water and emerge tasting even better. I wish I lived next door to this place instead of 2 subway stops away so I could go in every single day. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful as well. Great family business.
