Nora's Park Bench Cafe

I absolutely love Nora's. From the food, to the staff, to everything involved there. It's a little funny and kind of a known/silly/fun thing in the area that it's just 2 or 3 little Asian dudes who are able to cook all this delicious food, because it's more the Italian and Irish type of food not to sound like I'm stereotyping anybody, but I always found that amusing in some way in a good way. Anyway I love Nora's and I will always be a lifelong customer. It's also an excellent place to have a first date with someone because it's not super formal at all, you can be casual, and have delicious food, and there's a full bar, and even on certain nights they have some sort of entertainment going on perhaps somebody playing an instrument or a singer, they definitely have added quality to Quentin Road! Nora's is an institution there in more ways than one. I can't tell you how many unfortunately funerals I've been to where the routine does not change ever! Everybody goes to the funeral at Marine Park funeral home, and right afterwards right across the street everybody goes to Nora's to eat and drink, some people in the middle of the service will run across the street for a quick drink or a shot. Anyway Nora's is awesome and I will always be a supporter. One specific thing that's Bonkers and so good that I try to make sure I'm there for it which is the "special" once a week I believe on Tues or Wed one of the other, But it is the best meatloaf I may have ever had in my life no exaggeration. There is a special every night that's why I'm confused but the specials are always good and the meatloaf is out of this world

Nora's is a great local place for cocktails and upscale pub fare. I had the seafood fra diavalo, and it was fantastic (for a pub)! They have awesome burgers, fajitas, and Buffalo sauce, which they serve as boneless Buffalo chicken tenders and Buffalo shrimp! Lots of pasta, panini, appetizers, chicken, and steak options, too! Highly recommend!

At 5:30 on a Wednesday, the back room was quiet and comfortable as a crowd celebrated in the bar and on the sidewalk. Service was wonderful and we enjoyed our dinners. Portions were large, and well prepared. I had jumbo shrimp francese; my husband had a large house salad with added shrimp. We shared a plate of calamari, which he would have preferred a bit crunchier but I thought was just right. It felt great to return after almost two years and even better that the place hadn't changed much in all those challenging months.
