Let me begin by expressing how remarkable the cuisine at this establishment is. My experience was limited to their tacos, but judging by their flavor, I'm confident that the entire menu is equally delightful. Arriving famished, I found myself savoring every bite to the point of cleaning my plate. This restaurant comes highly recommended from my end. Additionally, the ambiance is noteworthy. It's a cultural mosaic, celebrating various generations of Latin heritage through music and atmosphere. Even the bartender's charisma had me contemplating learning Spanish. The vibe here is absolutely fantastic. In summary, this is an exceptional place that merits a full five-star rating!

Honestly the most delicious Mexican food. We went for happy hour - $4 tacos. It was great food, great service. I wish I was a local and could eat here all the time!

Liked very much their dishes especially beef fajitas and the beans - it was well made.
It is a nice place to enjoy a good meal with the colorful decorations. The service was great.

The half sangria and half margaritas packed a punch
All the entrees and apps were plentiful
The Tres Leche cake was unlike any I had before , filled with walnuts and pineapple..so moist
You have to come here !

Food: 4/5: Ordered the carb taquitos, shrimp tacos, fried polluck tacos, pork tacos, churros and cake for desert. Crab tacquitos were very unique and tasty. Tacos were colorful and cooked well but lacked some seasoning. Desert was mediocre.
Value 5/5: Great value, spent about $90 for two people including tip and we were full.

My boyfriend and I had a very satisfying date night here, and I must say it’s the perfect place for exactly that sort of occasion. Not only was the food uniquely delicious- with the meat promising (aND DELIVERING)a wonderful smokey tender flavor. The gelatin desert was wonderful, perfect to split because it’s quite rich. We highly recommend the Plata Don with carne. The atmosphere is also deliciously comforting

Very good food and atmosphere. I was with a group of four, and we ordered 4 different dishes all outstanding. The only thing I didn't like was the tres leche because it was not a classic one but a fruity based one, which I didn't know when I ordered.

Chavela's is outstanding! I went on a Sunday evening with a party of three and was seated on the patio within 10 minutes. Our server was so friendly and thoughtful and our food came out super quickly! The bottle of sangria was a great deal and we all loved our food. My favorites were the smoked trout guacamole and Aurelia's mole which had such subtle flavors. Will definitely be back!

A great spot for Mexican cuisine where you won’t go wrong with any option. Came here with a large group of people and was able to get seated after 10 minutes or so. The restaurant was packed and service was a bit rushed - we felt like we needed to order quick and always be ready. The food was delicious though, I’d definitely come back again when things are a little less busy.
