our first time at Clydees , and omg this place has everything that sums up the hospitality by all means, brilliant food , amazing costumer service, fair price. and lovely music. i love the street too. 10 stars, five is not enough

Clydees is such a warm & welcoming local place! Fantastic thoughtfully crafted menu by skilled main man Clydee & wonderfully imaginative cocktails 😍 (I recently had the pleasure of sampling a BISCOFF cocktail and it was OUT of this worrrld!) With so many big chains now occupying saint James street, it’s so lovely to come to a small biz that feels like home for everyone in our community ❤️🫶🏻👌🏻 10/10 x

The food was so great! The burger Jane Plane is crunchy and very tasty. The owner is very friendly and the atmosphere is very welcoming. I highly recommend it :)

on a trip to brighton my family and me wanted to have a real english breakfast and we were more than satisfied to the point of going back until we left the city. the food is very good and qualitative as well as its presentation, moreover the service is fast and the music very cool.
we had a warm welcome with an extremely nice smiling owner who puts us directly at ease and who is also open to discussion.
fav place of brighton go there (better than macdo believe me)

My group and I walked into this restaurant around noon. We just flew in and this was the first restaurant we stopped at, and I cannot overstate how satisfying the breakfast they served was (lower right)! And at a perfectly reasonable price! Made my fiancé’s day and I felt full for hours, all the more complimented by the wonderful staff. We just decided to make it not only the first but also the last place we visit in Brighton before leaving, it’s really that good!

Would definitely recommend!! Food was very delicious and the atmosphere was really chill. Enjoyed the little conversation with the owner, he’s really sympathetic and i wish i could’ve stayed a little bit longer. I would love to come back one day :)

The food is amazing, definitely the best burger that I had in Brighton so far. The staff are super friendly and the beers really cold. Happy to live closer.

Found this place by accident while walking in the rain super-hungry after our 4.5 hours BHF London Brighton bike ride. Burgers were absolute delish. Chips were perfect. Portions were huge (please see my picture; perfect combo) The service was also excellent.

Return customer here, the Lucky Strike burger is legitimately the best burger in Brighton and I've been actively searching!
Very generously sized burger with beautiful beef patty and bacon, an unexpectedly perfectly complimentary massive chunky slice of avocado and lovely seasoning with chilli flakes- this burger is gorgeous.
Will definitely be coming again, big fat burger with chips and a milkshake for a very reasonable price, great atmosphere, clean and comfortable and Clydee is friendly and welcoming. 10/10!!
