Lovely good pub restaurant to have a Sunday carvery. The staff are really friendly and helpful. My son particularly likes the bottomless ice cream.

The staff were all very friendly, the food was deliciously and the service was very helpful.
The staff kindly put our party into a private room so luckily we have even more room to spread out on!! The only thing you could improved on is the carpet in the room could have been swept and tables wiped down.

Had a wonderful carvery, as usual, today and a member of our group had a beautiful fish and chips. All very tasty, and I firmly believe the best roast meat I have ever had at a carvery. We don't live local but when we are near always fit in lunch here. Kayleigh is the jewel in the crown and the young man serving our carvery today was great (sorry didn't get his name). The atmosphere is friendly as are the staff. Will look forward to my next visit soon.

Wow what an experience! Quick service, cheap pints and half price pizzas on Tuesday! Why would you go anywhere else if you are in the Brighton area. Thanks to Sophie and Lena for the quick service and Johnathan for the perfectly poured pints!

Food was cracking roast was very fresh all new meats in display veg all fresh and the roast was hot! Great chef serving gave plenty of servings of meat
Gravy good all round a very pleasant meal and staff are great! Value for money keep it up team very impressed mid week meal out for us after a very physical days work our tummy's were content! Thank-you lesley & Vanessa

Craving a Sunday roast after a long drive back to Brighton, we arrived later than ideal to find that the carvery had stopped serving. Sean who served us at the bar very kindly sorted us out some food and drinks and made us feel very welcome. A real gent who deserves top marks for customer service and going that extra mile.

Had a positive experience! Nice food, at that price couldn’t go wrong. We hadn’t booked but our server, think her name was Sophie? Said it was fine and showed us to our table and cleaned it all down for us. It always makes it a great experience when your server is nice and helpful like Sophie was. Nothing was a problem for her despite our demands and fussy children and we are grateful for her understanding and patience

Food is good value for money and if you get the app the kids eat for£1. The stand out for us was the waitress, what a lovely young lady, she couldn’t do enough for us. Alison was her name. Give that girl a pay raise. Thanks for having us and down to Alison we will 100% be back and recommend the sportsman.
