The Katarina

Chris kindly found a table for us on a very busy bank holiday, Shanon kindly served our drinks and checked we were ok. Katie done a brilliant job and for her 1st day was the only one to check what's best value for money (none of the other harvester have done that for us). Overall brilliant food, service and team. I would happily go there again! Even mum felt the food was better quality and she is very fussy. Thank you all for a great experience!

Our server was lovely , so polite and welcoming. Sharon had a nice smile and we enjoyed a chitchat. Food was nice and hot when it arrived. Salad was fresh. Nicely presented. The salad bar was full and fresh. Plates were clean. A few items of cutlery were a bit dirty but other than that there was nothing negative to say about the experience

Food was just the usual fare you think you'd get with this kind of establishment. Not in a bad way, it's good value for money and the drinks were great (Stella was one of the best pints I've had in the area. Nice and gassy and cool.) Dog friendly, the restaurant was very quiet and they enjoyed roaming freely. Although they were quiet the staff were great: friendly, attentive, even watched over the dogs for us for a few moments. I work in hospitality and staff like this deserve every penny of their wages. First time eating in this place and even though it's a well trodden, restaurant chain and it's easy to be snobbish about reasonably priced restaurants, there are no pretenses : what you see is what you get. Would definitely revisit and recommend. Good job guys.

A restaurant chain that has (in my humble opinion) a better selection and quality of food than you get at Wetherspoons. You also get a free salad buffet bar, but remember not to load up too many veggies or you won’t have enough room for your main course. I had the 14oz (which was 2 x 7oz) gammon steak with a fried egg and a pineapple ring. It was delicious with the perfect texture. It wasn’t overly salty like you often get in pubs to encourage you to drink more liquid. In fact it wasn’t salty at all, just very tasty.
