If you are leaving Brighton, you must stop at this cafe for burgers and fried. It was just delicious and nutritious. I had a chicken burger with fries and husband had a cheeseburger. It tasted good and fresh. Loved it.

Cute cafe on the top of a hill just by Brighton. Quite a large menu with some meal deals available. Hot and cold drinks and a large selection of condiments.
Plenty of outdoor seating, and they also offer takeaway.
Slight shame about all the traffic rushing past constantly, but overall there's a nice atmosphere here and the traffic isn't that intrusive.

Lovely, friendly outside café with a covered area with heating for those rainy,cold days .

A gem and dog friendly with a sausage for your canine friend when you buy food or drink..
The variety of food is brilliant from breakfasts to toasties, flapjacks, tray bakes, croissants and danish pastries. Something for everyone.

Found this while working on the area and what a place, great food, very good coffee and the flapjack os one of the best I have tasted! Good value as well. The staff are great as well and actually chatting with you, making you feel like your custom is welcome and a lot of places could learn from this.

Excellent spot for a snack on the way home form Parkrun, in our case, or a dog walk. Very friendly service from a great team and a great variety of hot and cold food. My bacon roll was very good, but got food envy when someone else had the egg upgrade! The covered tent with heater was a bonus.

We have lived relatively near this cafe for years, and walk up and round the nearby woods a lot, but hadn’t been here until recently, and now we’ve been several times. A surprisingly large selection of fresh and local sourced foods for a small cabin, from sausage rolls to burgers, jacket potato’s and panini, plus cakes, cookies, biscuits and drinks.
Burgers are real nice - smoked bacon and cheese has a good tang to it, the pulled pork burger is absolutely loaded. Buns and salad bits are all tasty too. Fries are a nicely balanced fluffy and crispy.
The portions are generous too, so no chance of remaining hungry unless your appetite is enormous - but then there’s always the cakes.

My favourite place for a pre-dog walk coffee and sandwich. Really good coffee and free dog sausages. Can’t believe the one and two star reviews below, it is a roadside cafe that does exceptional food at reasonable prices, I’m not sure what else people are expecting.
