We had a great visit overall. There’s no service charge added, so we tipped because the staff earned it rather than hinting for it. We did wait for our food, but they handled it well - gave my sushi side dish for free. …
Authentic Japanese neighbourhood canteen vibe. Nostalgic flavours, low key presentation. Extensive menu and generous portion size. I’d come here everyday if I lived around here! Dog-friendly!
Very delicious Japanese food. Great service!! Eggplants with tofu starter, highly recommend, and the Katsu curry was very nice too.

Unmatched atmosphere for both solitary evenings and big dinners with friends. My favourite place to visit in this quieter part of Brighton.
