Been to this place every single time I go to Brighton. The staff are lovely and friendly. The food is amazing!
When I first visited Sawadee, I ordered coffee and it took longer than expected for them to prepare it. I assumed it was because the coffee machine kept resetting. I got my coffee in the end… plus free dessert!

So late afternoon we put “Thai restaurant” into Google to find what Brighton might offer. Walking around Brighton (& Hove of course) looking is a great way to explore the city - but also depressing to find high scores given to Thai takeaways and dingy restaurants! What a relief to find this one that actually looked a nice place to eat! The service was really excellent and the menu both a full range of Thai choices at very good value. We were not disappointed when the food arrived. Superb duck stir fry and green chicken curry; and the banana fritters were a real treat. If you are looking for an authentic, comfortable, good value and quality Thai restaurant in Brighton, then this place is definitely where you need to be.

I especially like Thai Tempura here, specifically the prawn tempura covered with coconut crusts. The tomyum soup is a must try as well. For the main, I tried Green curry, it was very good. 😊

I have visited this place a couple of weeks ago for a quick lunch. Service was incredible and the food was really nice. I ordered a pad see ew and it was lovely and they added fresh chillies on top. As I said before service was unreal.

This restaurant can fulfill me of missing Thai food!!! A food was delicious. I ordered Ga-Prao Prawns and Thai Spring rolls. Restaurant atmosphere is very nice with Thai-pop music, I’m super enjoyed having food here! Staff are welcoming so lovely! Recommend for dining with friends or family.

Ordered the usual Thai dishes and wasn’t disappointed with our first time experience. The taste wasn’t overpowering my palate but the overall presentation of the dishes revealed the underlying creative effort of the chef/owner. Definitely would recommend.
