Asked for chips, jumbo plain sausage wrapped and got a small battered sausage. Much to my disappointment. My husband fish was soggy and mushy and tasted like they were cooked in old oil. Would avoid. Both stomachs not been right since two days ago.
Spent £22 for sausage and chips, fishcake and chips and a portion of cod bites. The chips were OK but VERY pale, the battered sausage was greasy and the fish cake was poor, it looked like cardboard and was burnt on one side! Gravy and curry sauce was nice. Quite disappointed at paying so much for tiny portions and poor quality food.
Tried for the first time. Ordered cod bites, chips and mushy peas. Cod bites were tasty if a little small, chips were good though as were the mushy peas. Good value too, £7.25 for all that, I’m a fat lad and could barely finish it all. Will definitely be back.
I reluctantly went to this place one more time and it’s just a shame how bad it is.
Bad service, microwaved food and small portions.
