What an awesome little gem of a restaurant. The amount of character this place exudes is amazing. For us pretty authentic and well prepared. Lunch came out quickly and was very reasonably priced. Would love to come here when I can have a couple of drinks!
Don't miss!

Food is quite delicious overall (the pork intestine dish we ordered was a bit disappointing--excessively greasy, over-cooked, and a bit stale). HOWEVER, we received the best service ever. Our server (a bespectacled, pink-haired girl) is incredibly friendly and helpful. She patiently advised on spice levels, food selections, etc, and even gave us some complimentary glutinous rice balls (background story: today was the Lantern Festival and I was very upset that the two store where I had planned to get some rice balls were closing rather early upon my arrival, but Hot Eastern made my Lantern Festival tradition possible this year). I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back again.

I was greeted by a smiling host, and was quickly seated. I ordered takeout but at it there, and it was a nice experience. She got me real utensils and took away the takeout ones. The food was very good and the chicken was tender, the sauce was sweet but savory. Overall great place. I will definitely return.

Great restaurant.
Have been there 3 times, and it had been amazing on each occasion.
They have some great authentic Sichuan dishes that will set your mouth on fire.Sichuan cold noodles and Sichuan dumplings were both great. The Sichuan chicken was by far the hottest though.
The Malabang is amazing as well. Portion size is huge and they do no cheap out on the meat or veggies.
Lastly, as cliche as it sounds, do order their general gau's chicken. I usually stay away from the dish, but the way these people make it is amazing.
Service: Above average for a China Town restaurant. Servers speak English and place is clean and spacious enough.

Pretty cramped space below ground, but it's good Sichuan food at pretty reasonable prices. Lots of variety of dishes. Staff aren't overly friendly but always polite and make you feel welcome, unlike a lot of other Chinatown restaurants. Even when pretty busy service is fast.

The food was delicious, well served, with good service. My wife and I had two appetizers and one entree and were stuffed. The szechuan dumplings are awesome and the spicy dishes are actually spicy.

Wonderfully spicy and amazing presentation and texture... Find your way down the stairs to Szechuan heaven!
