Nice people, best cocktails we've had in Boston (Old Fashioned and the Blue Winged Olive). I had the steamed mussels and they were incredible (better than anything I've had in Brussels). Don't miss this place, you won't be disappointed.

I sat at the bar and ordered the mussels w. frites and a beer. Ended up having an oyster, even though I had never tried one before. The bartender was kind enough to choose one for me and explain how I was supposed to eat it. Also, I found myself having a glass of wine someone had accidentally ordered.
I have to say I had a lovely evening. The bartender was truly friendly and the food was superb. The mussels were huge and the broth was so good I had to get extra bread, which they happily provided at no charge.
I will be coming back for the $1 oyster special. I hope they do well.

This restaurant's only been open for a few months, but we had an amazing experience and are eager to go back. We had amazing service with everyone we spoke to (hostess, server, and manager), and all the food was terrific. Specifically recommend the raw bar, bbq oysters, and the curry.

Ryan who seated us was a great guy. Corey our waiter was hands down the best, exceptional service on her part. Diamond hands down had a better playlist than most DJs. Made us feel welcome on our stay in Boston.

Very fun vibe and yacht inspired interior, with cool outdoor patio deck. Loved the inlaid wood floor, bartop, and original art. We particularly loved that instead of the usual bread and butter offered gratis, we received a tin of (amazing) smoked bluefish pâté and jumbo-sized oyster crackers.
Salmon croquettes were stunning in the soft interior and crisp exterior, and my blue cheese martini (complete with Maytag blue cheese olives) was well below freezing and perfectly balanced.

Went this past weekend and was very impressed! Portions are slightly small, but the dishes are still priced fairer than other places. We ordered about 40 oysters and they were all fresh, as well as the dishes. Staff were all pleasant and helpful. I liked that the servers didn't just stick to their individual areas/tables and were willing to help/serve other tables as well.

I had a mixed experience but will award 4/5 stars based on the excellent food and how accommodative and understanding management was with our experience. I will be coming back because of how well the situation was handled... A refreshing nautically themed seafood Back Bay restaurant serving expertly prepared food - kudos to the kitchen staff. It is clear that the owners went the distance in designing the interior or the restaurant, including the very expensive and striking inlayed flooring. Additionally, the menu and wine list are excellent and extensive, and the food is primo. It is clear from my recent visits (3) that The Oyster Club is going through some early growing pains, particularly with the inexperienced wait staff, which could benefit from additional training, including understanding the timing of the delivery of courses and proper serving techniques. However, I give extensive praise to the managerial staff for recognizing and acknowledging their weaknesses on my recent visit and, like I said, I will be coming back again because of their attentive care towards my party's experience. Great oysters!

Went for Friday couples dinner with friends. The atmosphere and decor take you right into a classic ocean liner atmosphere-attention to detail everywhere. The service was excellent, very sophisticated and well trained staff. Food was as well thought out as the interior: well designed, planned and crafted. The seafood chowder is best in Boston; scallops were perfection; and all the details from the large oyster crackers to the rolls were exceptional. Top notch cocktails and exquisite dessert. If you are looking for a way to discern this place from other seafood restaurants, the artisanal quality and presentation is the focus here - there are other places to go for more ‘mass’ produced, or larger portions. Come here for the experience and quality. Excited to go back.
