Yucatan Tacos

I’m a yes on Yucatán Tacos. I grew up just outside of Phoenix. So my Mexican sensibilities are fine tuned to the southwest. I’m not looking for fancy, I’m looking for a taste of home. YT delivered. I had 3 tacos, each a different type. All 3 were good. Tortillas were good (this is important!). Tacos were not a soggy, sloppy mess (I hate a sloppy taco!). They were tidy and delicious. This was my first trip. I’ll be back. I think a lot.

We stumbled upon the location as we were in search of Mexican and we absolutely nailed it! This is authentic Mexican and it's apparent from the first bite. We started with the tostada and fish tacos and I ordered the fajitas plate w/ carne asada as the main. Each dish was better than the next! Everything is fresh and packed with flavor. Cooked to perfection. This spot is a gem!

This small unassuming mexican place more than delivers. The food is authentic, delicious and affordable so basically all you need. Definitely go in to order as their full menu isn’t online and you wouldn’t want to miss out on a tamale! It’s mostly a takeout joint but they have 10 tables or so if you want to eat in. Whatever you get don’t skip the chips and salsa, the chips are homemade and the salsa is the best. I could have a whole bowl of it as a soup! If you get a burrito make sure to ask to have it toasted, it adds a whole new other layer of flavor that can’t be beat! Talked to the guy behind the counter today and they’re starting breakfast on the weekends so you know I’m going to go back to check that out. Long story short, this place is the real deal don’t miss out!
