I recently had the pleasure of dining at Punjab Palace, and it was an absolute delight. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, creating the perfect setting for an authentic Indian dining experience. I have been in this place for years. Lately I am hooked with Tofu Jalfrezi and Vegetable Jalfrezi at max. I am not vegetarian but these are my favorite for a while and Punjab Place is getting more popular but they never let me down. All workers are very polite, professional and kind, so that food is always awesome. Consistently great, food is always making my day / night.

This restaurant is an amazing gem in Brighton, and all of Boston! It has an amazingly attentive service staff, awesome Bollywood music videos on the TV, and of course great food for a great price. Whether you order from here online or go get a table in person you will love it. One of my favorite restaurants in Boston!

This is my go-to for Indian delivery. My favorite is the lamb shahi korma. Especially dipping naan into the curry, such a great comfort dish. The lamb is nice and tender and the curry has a great warm flavor. 4.5 stars because I've noticed the level of spice can vary; I order mild every time and sometimes it's spicier than other times and I don't know if it's me or the food. I have a low spice tolerance (I'm very white) but that won't stop me from ordering this fairly often- I am addicted!

I've always said that Punjab Palace was the best Indian food in Boston for the first 9 years I've lived here BUT I recently visited after the pandemic and the food (while still good) has dropped in taste by maybe 15%. I don't know if the chef changed but its not the same. I would still go back but now I am looking for a new restaurant to be my #1. The food is a little less spiced, less smoky and roasted, the tamarind sauce is more red and sweet, etc. I love the atmosphere and the pricing and service. So that's why the 4 star remains.
