Hill Tavern

This is a nice tavern. I went here and was satisfied with my experience. On the outside, this tavern looks like an old restaurant, but on the inside, it’s more like a sports bar. When I was here I had the buffalo chicken wings, which tasted pretty good, and the Cajun shrimp fettuccine, which is fettuccine pasta with shrimp in cajun seasoning. It tasted quite good. I gave this tavern five stars because it has good food and a nice atmosphere in a great location.

Delicious food, generous portion, and great ambiance. We went there for a late dinner. Arrived there and couldn’t believe they open till 2 AM daily!! There were around 5 people when we arrived and around 10 when we left at around 11 PM. Lots of TV showing sport programs and music wasn’t too loud. Typical tavern feel with lots of wooden interiors. Expansive food and beverage menu. Lots of options for beer on the tap. But this night we didn’t drink so can’t really comment on that. But boy, the food was delicious and the portion was generous! We ordered clam chowder, wings, caesar salad, and shrimp risotto. Usually we don’t waste food, but today around 20% if the salad we couldn’t finish. Service was good and quick. Would definitely recommend this place!!

It's a Sports Bar in the lower West End of Boston that has some of the best Pub grub in the area. I've been going here for years & the current kitchen staff is phenomenal! The servers are mostly college age females w/ pretty faces & the bar tenders aren't bad on the eyes either ;) The bar tenders especially are very affable. Great place to just hang out & relax.
